Global supply-chain concerns got you stressed tf out? Do you even know what you’re getting everyone on your list?
We’ve got the answer that kills two birds with one stone: airline gift cards. Whether your gift is $50 or $500, you’ll have helped make a trip possible for someone in your life, and giving experiences always beats giving … things.
The four gift cards we’ve listed below are available for instant delivery via email. Instant delivery may mean there’s no physical card to exchange, but that leaves you free to be creative with how you tell the recipient to look extra close at their inbox this week.
Alaska Airlines
Available in any denomination, from $25 to $500.
Instant delivery by email? Yes. Not available for shipping, but can be printed.
American Airlines
Available in any denomination, from $50 to $1,500.
Instant delivery by email? Yes, or shipped with a personalized message but to ensure delivery before December 25th, complete your order by December 17th.
Delta
Available in any denomination, from $50 to $1,000.
Instant delivery by email? Yes, or shipped with a personalized message.
Southwest Airlines

Some airlines, like JetBlue and Frontier do not (or no longer) sell gift cards. And United only sells combined flight and hotel vacations or hotel-only vacations but none for flights only.
Also, forget the holidays. Somebody has a birthday/anniversary/coming-out party or other life event coming up? Airline gift cards are the answer. Unless that person hates travel and, if that’s the case, you’ve got bigger problems than just figuring out a gift.
