May 10 - May 18
Size ain’t always the be-all and end-all, you know? Sometimes it’s them smaller towns that bring out the big guns when it comes to Pride. Take, New Hope Celebrates — an early bird in the U.S. Pride scene. This shindig brings together two neighboring towns in neighboring states for a whole week of community celebration every May.
Events include a 700-person march across the New Hope-Lambertville Bridge on the Delaware River. And get this, it’s the only Pride Parade that crosses state lines! Talk about breaking boundaries, right? But that’s not all! There’s live entertainment, retail and restaurant promotions, comedy shows, and a whole lot more to keep the good times rollin’.
So, let’s ditch the size stereotypes and embrace the power of community and celebration in all its colorful glory.
