You know the (mostly true) stereotype: Gay Christmas takes form in Halloween. We’re all a little drag-curious, and we’ve outdone 19-year-old sorority girls in taking Halloween’s dress-up aspect to an obsessive and borderline-inappropriate level. In Wilton Manors, the gay enclave 10 minutes north of Fort Lauderdale, they take things to the extreme by blocking off 9 blocks or so of Wilton Drive where 30,000 fellow Halloweeners (assume 99% or so are gay or gay-interested) with probably 75% in costumes. It’s epic!
