The 2016 Chicago Gay Pride Parade won’t be quite as large as it has been in previous years.

Organizers have decided to reduce the number of entities marching in the procession from about 200 to 150, the Chicago Sun-Times reported. In addition, they plan to place more security measures along the parade route, the report said. For context, last year about 1 million people attended the June celebration, forcing organizers to hire an additional 90 off-duty police officers in order to provide proper security, the Sun-Times explained.
