Like so many coastal towns, the beach, the ocean and the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach, Del., are the reasons people visit. At least, this time of year.
“Our universe revolves around that,” said Carol Everhart, president of the Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce.
The beach is also free. Take note, New Jerseyans.
So are the concerts at night on the Bandstand, just off of Rehoboth Avenue and the boardwalk during the summer season.
Rehoboth Beach is a mere one-mile square, which means the boardwalk runs for a mile, with a mix of commercial and residential components.
