Broward County’s tourism bureau will host the first annual Gay Days Fort Lauderdale from Nov. 25 through Dec. 1, marking the newest addition to the series of popular events organized nationally by Gay Days Inc.
The host hotel for the week-long series of events will be the W Fort Lauderdale, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention & Visitors Bureau said in a recent news release. Activities will include daily pool parties with some of the world’s best known DJs, the popular Gay Days Expo, as well as city-wide events throughout Greater Fort Lauderdale.
“We are ecstatic to be launching Gay Days Fort Lauderdale with an expected 15,000 attendees this first year, bringing an economic impact of $18 million to the area,” said Richard Gray, the CVB’s managing director for the LGBT market. “Our goal is to bring more key LGBT events to our warm, welcoming and diverse destination.”
