It’s going to be a big weekend in Palm Springs, with outdoor music and DJs, pool parties, a parade and other events.
Oh, and by the way, it is for the most part, free.
The Greater Palm Springs Pride weekend, Nov. 7-9, now in its 28th year, will be a street fair-like event in downtown Palm Springs.
“Going free is really to make the event accessible to all and to drive as much attendee traffic as possible,” remarked Ron deHarte, president of Greater Palm Springs Pride. In years past, the Pride Festival was held in Sunrise Park with tickets hovering around $10 to $15 each.
