Dangerously high temperatures are expected to pass through Key West in August as part of Tropical Heat – the annual Key West celebration featuring all-male adult fun. Four days of drinking, partying and sheer entertainment – there’s no better way to have fun in Key West. If you like your parties and your men hot, this is the place to be.
The sizzling events include late-night parties, naked paddleboarding, drag shows, pool parties and a cruise. The official start of the heat wave is set for 5 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, with a kick-off party at Island House, 1129 Fleming St. The clothing-optional event is complete with free shots and free appetizers.
Friday is filled with fabulous parties; at 4 p.m., Alexander’s Annual Traffic Light party is held at 1118 Fleming Street. But the fun doesn’t stop there. The festival schedule offers attendees the chance to be “best dressed” at a tropical toga get-together at Equator Resort, 818 Fleming St. At 10 p.m., the ‘Hotter than Hell’ party overheats with a clothing-optional gathering at Saloon One, 801 Duval Street rear.
