Had the best shrimp scampi of my life here! My friend ordered the veal piccata and was similarly wowed. Warm, inviting, and cleverly kitschy interior too. Wish I could be a regular!

Quirky Italian restaurant in the French Quarter. One of my favorite restaurants to eat at in New Orleans. We eat here at least once on every trip. Been eating here for 20 plus years. The food is always good. Everything Italian from great pasta dishes, delicious pizzas and great sandwiches. They make the bread for the sandwiches. I love the meatball sub and the Mona Lisa special sub or pizza is excellent. Do not let the small size or quirky decor fool you. Great food and worth the wait if busy.

Great neighborhood restaurants. Busy and only opened 5 to 10 PM. Food was good and we got 3 different dishes. Everyone liked their dishes. Priced reasonably.

Great food and perfect service. Must visit for great Italian food when visiting NOLA and looking for something near but away from Bourbon street.

Had a few drinks at the bar. Excellent happy hour! ($5 for cocktails/wine/beer & shot). All the staff were excellent. Friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Highly recommend.

Perfect boozy indulgent rich brunch spot 4.5 stars!Don’t get trapped in the touristy joints in NOLA - a quick Lyft ride from downtown and you are eating the best of best. Come hungry.. a biscuit is as big as a grapefruit and oh sooo crumbly and yummy. Everything we had was delicious. The biscuit sausage sandwich is amazing. They make the sausage; the seasoning in it is delightful with a dash of cinnamon. The French onion sandwich was also a hit, couldn’t get enough of it. I should have bought a stack of those sausages to take home with me. Again.. come hungry, portions are not for the faint hearted. The pate took the crown; two of us said we could eat all 4 toast of it just by ourselves. So go figure.. service was wonderful and helpful and ambiance was cozy unpretentious. Before leaving, made sure I went to the kitchen window and shouted obscenities at the chef - bravo! hey, they encouraged me to do it.

Meauxbar is one of our favorite local spots to go for happy hour, a quick bite or a nice delicious dinner. All of their staff are incredibly amazing, Adam, Lindsey, Dwayne, etc. are just so wonderful, personable, attentive, etc. The food here is absolutely incredible, there is not a single thing in their menu that isn't divine. You have to try their deviled eggs, bone marrow, chicken pate, duck fat fries, grilled cheese, daily preparation of Yaka-mein, the list goes on. Their 4-6pm happy hour is such an incredible deal, especially for the quality. This place Will. Not. Disappoint.
New Orleans flavor for the elevated palate. Perfect for the southern lady in all of us that demands to be wined and dined.

Absolute highlight of our trip to New Orleans. So very glad we found this gem of a restaurant our last night in town. The ambience was fantastic, service was impeccable, especially when we were reminded to sit back, relax, and enjoy ourselves! Usually busy places are all about turning the tables over and never did we feel rushed. The food and drinks were amazing. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Delicious dinner. They had a lot of unique items but they were actually very good. I had the PBJnJ which was pork with peanut butter and jelly. On paper - weird, but tasted great. And our waitress Tori gave a really helpful description of it which convinced me to get it. Very happy with my experience.

The music was delightful. Just right for the setting. We had the beets and such salad, and all three of the mac and cheese dishes. All were delicious. Would definitely come again on our next visit to NOLA.

I've always passed by and smelled everything delicious wafting out of here; this time we got a reservation for an early dinner and it was great. Cocktails were creative and delicious, live band was fun and the space was well balanced enough that we could still enjoy conversation at the table, and the food was great! We tried the truffle mac, pbj burger, and truffle fries - all had great flavor and portions generous enough to share.

Great salad and bloody mary, thankful for gluten free options! Thai salad was good, the sauce was a little thick but with some lime juice it was perfect. Loved the sweet potato fries as well! Live band was playing, a little loud for my taste while dining but good.
A good stop on they way to an authentic NOLA night. Grab some shrimp po boy and enjoy your time in the Big Easy.

Very disappointed I ordered the bell pepper pasta and when I got to work it was simple the meat if the belpepper served over pasta and buried in marinara. I cant enjoy the pasta because I feel like I'm eatung straight sauce. The 1st time I had this entree, it was superb! The plate was decorated with full stuffed pepper that had marinara sauce and cheese that covered the top of the pepper which in turn sat on a bed of pasta. I feel like I got robbed this afternoon.

If you are looking for Pizza and tons of pasta dishes, this is the place. They offer a large menu selection. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming. Our waitress Mercedes has worked there for a number of years and she takes care of those who come in. It is location on the St. Charles street car line right before the Riverbend on Carollton Ave.It is a place for family meals.I recommend it to anyone.

Jack Dempsey's truly embodies everything you could ever want in a local New Orleans style family restaurant. The food is always hot and perfectly prepared. The service staff are attentive but very skilled in knowing how to let you enjoy your party, event or just a nice lunch. Truly a must stop for anybody wanting to experience great New Orleans food and culture. You should always eat were the locals eat.

It was nice. Hadn't been in years. Food was fresh. Service was good. They didn't let us serve the birthday cake but policy is policy.
Seafood done right in the South. Grab a seat next to your favorite somebody and get ready for some eats.

Good concept, poorly executed. Our table of five took up half the space because the table was so bulky. Biscuit and jam was very good. Sausage was cold, cheese was strangely melted, lots of things were chewy and overcooked. Grits were cold. Had to add salt to my dish because it had no flavor.

we had the falafel three tailed fish, and the Thai tofu. Both meals were amazing and packed with so many different flavors that mixed perfectly. Love this little hole in the wall!
The definition of a hole in the wall place in all its glory. You don’t want to pass by without trying the creole flavor waiting inside.

A great place to go Sunday shopping for New Orleans souvenirs jewelry sunglasses and pretty cool New Orleans style clothing, lots of handmade art. some coffee and Beignets really add to the area. Great live music sometimes as well

I LOVED this place from the staff to entertainment to the building to the food. The building was so beautiful, they even let us tour it. When we entered and left, we were greeted by everyone. My mother and I went to the Drag Brunch on a Saturday. It was our first time going to a drag show and it was EVERYTHING; I loved the stories of each performer along with their performances. The ending of the show was fun and Chef Marlon came out, himself. The food was phenomenal. I ordered the crab cake topped with arugula salad and the bottomless mimosa, it was the best crab cake I've had in my life. My mother ordered the shrimp and grits and she loved her dish, also. I've had my BEST experience here, being my first time visiting NOLA. I definitely recommend it and will be coming back!

One of the most intimate and welcoming restaurants and bars in the entire city. Chef Marlon and his partner and staff made us feel so welcome from the minute we walked in. We were there for a wedding and I must say from the beginning to the time we left we were at home. The food was amazing, we started with gumbo, then a chicken breast and fresh vegetables. Again amazing if you're in the area please check this gem out.

Food and drag show were great, but the service is terrible. We had a reservation for 1pm, and showed up at 12:45 and they had "dropped" our reservation on accident. Set a table for 10 upstairs instead of 19. Finally after getting us all seats, Our table was away from the show and they never told us that during the reservation process. They didn't take our order until 1:45, and hour after being there. We asked about getting tables near the main show and they offered to split up our group. When one of the drag ladies realized how hype our group was, she wanted us to move to the main show so we did. The whole time our waiter just rolled his eyes and had an attitude. Some of our group got bottomless mimosas and they only brought one set of carafes bc the service was slow. And then when we asked for another, they said sorry they didn't have anymore since the drag show was over even though we didn't get our food till the end of the show .When we asked to talk to the manager they said he wasn't there.. Which was a blatant lie because we saw him. They weren't apologetic and blamed our trouble on their computer that dropped our reservation. After all of the trouble with seating us, bad service, and $20 for bottomless mimosas which turned to only one drink... They couldn't even give us a discount at all! And when I addressed our servers attitude I was told "This is the best server we have".. And if that's the best they have then no thanks but I can serve myself or take my money elsewhere.

Beautiful ambiance, delicious cocktails, impeccable service and expertly prepared food. Cru was highly recommended by people in the neighborhood and it more than lived up to their rave reviews. We brought my father in on his 86th birthday. The highlight of this wonderful evening was our wonderful service by Toby and our interaction with Chef Marlon. They both made my father feel like the most important person in the restaurant. My dad will be talking about this wonderful meal for hopefully many more years. Chef Marlon is a truly gifted chef and host.

I love this place. I've gone here several times and each time is great. The place has a very "homey" feel. You feel very welcomed when you first walk and are greeted. The food is delicious and taste very authentic. They have an entertainer that plays the accordion and is hysterical with his made up songs based on the people at the table. I love coming to this place!

The Morrison has a great atmosphere. We saw a sign for burgers, beer, and they have a parking lot. This place is overall an enjoyable restaurant with atmosphere and good food. French fries that taste like bbq potatoes chips. The burgers are a half pound, cooked just as you ask them to be and served on a brioche bun. Best bread pudding you will find. Nick. Great guy, very helpful. I highly recommend stopping by this place! If you're in the area, go to the Morrison.

From the beginning to the end and everything in between. All the staff front and back. The cohesiveness of pairing of all flavors the tenderness of the lamb the freshness of pasta the softness and aromatic of the bread. The combination of different spices and the sweetness of the persimmon. And the teamwork the flow of the staff attention to details made this dining experience exceptional.

During the winter time, I crave a lot of red curry. So I've been trying out different places and Kang Thai is the top winner! It's tucked away in a food court next to a car wash but I just got my food to go. I can't wait to try more from them.

Fast and friendly service, delicious butterbeans, great gumbo too. Some items, like the white rice and baked macaroni and cheese, were a little dry. Good quick option if you are in the Quarter and don't want a fancy 2 hour candlelit dinner.
Before stopping there, all you did was DRINK. Southern food will really hit the spot and the gay staff will keep you entertained while you wait.

My son, daughter in law and myself stopped to have a coffee break with pastries. Excellent coffee (hot and cold) and delicious pastries. Large variety of cakes, pastries and cookies. We had Black Forest cake, strawberry/choc mousse and choc eclairs. Delicious! They serve what looks like really good breakfasts. Clean place and very nice employees. We'll be back. ??

This New Orleans gem is my new favorite spot when I'm in the French Quarters early in the morning. All of the pastries are delicious! I can tell that everything is made fresh! The coffee is also really good, it's smooth and not bitter. The staff is also very friendly!

Mini spinach quiche and an Americano were the perfect start to my first day back in town. Bummed they no longer serve the big slices of quiches. Those were amazing. Still one of my favorite little spots in the Quarters. Always worth a visit.

Woke up early on our trip and stopped by to get coffee and a cheese danish. What ambiance this place has, the tile work, window nooks and courtyard. Everything was fresh and delicious, enough so that I insisted we go back after noon. Magical little shop.
Pastries as sweet as the boys that walk the French Quarter. Grab a handful. Then buy a pastry.
