Every time I come home I only walk up we hope that the Avenue had never ventured down the side streets so I've missed this place and had no idea it was here.Today I wandered in because what caught my eye was the cod cheeks on the appetizer's menu.I started with an oyster stew and finished with the bouillabaise.I wasn't disappointed in any of it, it was all excellent!There's also a great selection of beer and wine to compliment any meal. Now that I know this little gem is hidden back here I'll be certain to return each time I come home to visit mom.

This restaurant offers a delightful variety of food and drinks that left us thoroughly impressed!My ideal selection included Fried Oysters as an appetizer, Bouillabaisse for the main course, and the challenging decision between Smith Island Cake and the parfait for dessert.The Fried Oysters were a delightful surprise, boasting briny, plump oysters delicately coated in a crisp, golden-brown butter. Notably, they were perfectly cooked, and the flavors were outstanding. The Bouillabaisse was a true culinary masterpiece, featuring a flavorful broth that harmoniously combined with the seafood and tomato base. The attention to detail in cleaning the shellfish and achieving the ideal texture for the fish pieces was evident. The generous infusion of saffron added a delightful aroma and depth to the flavor. Every dish and drink we sampled, including the oyster shots, exceeded our expectations.As a food enthusiast, I consider the pricing fair, given the freshness of the ingredients, most of which are sourced from local farmers and purveyors.The service was outstanding, with our server being friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to our every need.The restaurant itself is a destination in its own right. The atmosphere is inviting and bright, and the oyster bar offers an opportunity to watch their skilled and friendly staff meticulously shucking oysters. Despite being walk-in customers, we experienced a short wait time of less than 15 minutes, even when the restaurant was bustling. Its convenient location near local shops and other attractions ensures that you'll have plenty to do while waiting, if necessary.Notably, Henlopen City Oyster House's menu changes daily, adapting to ingredient availability and seasonal offerings. With this in mind, we can confidently say that this is a place we'll return to every time we find ourselves in the area.

The food was exceptional. Everything was extremely fresh and well balanced. The drinks were top notch and well priced. They went above and beyond to make our dinner extra special since it was my birthday celebration. I would definitely come back.Do yourself a favor and get the tuna tartare !

Wow: Delaware Delicious raw oysters can't be beat. Grilled octopus excellent and juicy, tender wonderful soft shell crabs. Waiter with great wine suggestions all made a beautiful birthday dinner treat!Need a reservation

Went here for dinner, and it was so good. The hostess was able to seat us right away even though it was really busy. Everything on the menu sounded amazing. We got lobster mac and cheese. For drinks, we got a martini and a summer special cocktail. Great atmosphere and awesome service!
They say oysters are the food of love, but honestly, after devouring a dozen at Henlopen City Oyster House, you’re more likely to be dozing off on Rehoboth Beach than embarking on a romantic adventure. Trust me, though, their champagne oyster shooters and cognac-spiked lobster mac and cheese are absolutely heavenly.

Overall, my mother and I enjoyed our time here and we would most likely go back!Atmosphere: We went on a Wednesday evening and were seated immediately. There was a relaxed atmosphere and it was not too noisy since they were not busy. I also was jamming to the playlist. 4/5 stars because we were seated at a high top, but now I'm just being picky.Service: Our waitress Sophia was kind and quick so 5/5 stars for her. She made sure our drinks were full and checked on us enough that we had what we needed, but not too much that it was annoying. The food runner cleared our plates in between courses.Food: It's a 3 for me. For starters, we shared the crab dip paired with bagel crisps. It needed some pepper and Old Bay (maybe that's just the Marylander in me), but otherwise, it was hot and tasty. For a second starter, I ordered three different types of raw oysters and enjoyed those with some cocktail, fresh lemon and horseradish. For entrees, I ordered the Fresh Catch of the day which was Salmon paired with Kale, Bacon Pieces, and Sliced Potatoes. The salmon was cooked well but not seasoned, the kale was steamed properly but the bacon's grease soaked into the kale and the potatoes which made it all a bit too oily for my liking and took away from the lightness of a salmon-kale dish. Overall it lacked flavor, but minor adjustments (more flavor to the salmon, less bacon grease, S&P on taters) would make this an exceptional dish for a salmon lover. My mother ordered the Whole Maine Lobster which she enjoyed with butter. This dish came with a House Salad and a side of her choosing: a heaping portion of Garlic Mashed Potatoes; No complaints there on taste although the portion was unnecessary.

The food was delicious. We ordered the raw oysters and they were devoured within minutes we tried them all so tasty! Then we ordered steak fritters with lobster and the crab Mac and cheese, also the land and sea burger! Everything I mean everything was yummy!! If I could give 10 stars I would!!

I love everything about DFG the drinks are great. The food is top notch the seafood fresh. It just gets pretty crazy. The poor waitresses get thier steps in for sure. The crab cakes, lobster rolls, crab scotch egg, and smoked bacon collar greens are all amazing. The raw bar is as fresh as I have ever had. Love it! DO ITTTT!!!!

The restaurant carries standard but also pilot batches of DF beers. Food concept had a bit of Maine, but mainly Chesapeake ingredients. Burger with crab cake - need to try that again, it was delicious. Also, liked the crab mac and cheese but the buffalo bites (fish) threw me for a loop but tasty as well. I know it's a touristy place but you need to check out the OG DogFish.
Awesome seafood joint that brings you the freshest catch from its namesake regions. And let’s not forget about their stellar lineup of cocktails! It’s a seafood lover’s paradise.

We have lived in town for 6 years and have wanted to eat here for that long. Well, we finally did and I’m sorry we did. The restaurant claims to be farm to table. Although that might be true, the quality of the food did not seem fresh. The greens in my salad were yellow and the chicken on my sandwich was dry, service was super slow and the flies on the windows were off putting. The server told us they were short staffed and yet I saw no manager anywhere near the kitchen, assisting in running food or seating people… It’s really a shame as I had heard so many good things about Jam. Don’t think we will return.

Unique hand crafted food and drink. Crab cakes creamy filled with lump crab, Smokey grilled veggies and deconstructed crab stuffed deviled eggs as app. Corn bread side could actually taste corn. Infused vodka & gin was special. Great service.

Great service, delicious food. The deviled eggs were an interesting take. The crab cake sandwich was also packed with crab. Dessert was amazing combo of sweet and savory. Cute outdoor sitting. We sat inside which is nice but there were flies all around the table.Highlight of it all is Kara. Bubbly, friendly, so quick in what she does, multitask and you could just ‘see’ her smile through her mask (covid19)

The old Jam location was great. I went there often in all the years they were open. I've tried the new location 3 times now with 3 very bad experiences. Rude bartenders, bad service, slow service, getting orders wrong... and I'm super bummed about it because I liked the food, but after my most recent experience I will never go back. The owner should spend more time there to see how poorly it's being run, if they're not already. RIP, Jam.

We were so excited to try this place. It was absolutely horrendous. My sister ordered an expensive ribeye and it was a step down from diner food. It was very over cooked and very thin. The flavor was awful. The risotto tasted old and hard. When we returned the meal, all they did was take it off the bill. No apologies and no concern for what they had served. The calamari was dry and served without a dipping sauce. The fried pickles were awful. The expensive piece of salmon was super small. Never returning.
Just a few steps away from Eden Restaurant is Jam, a super cool and classy eatery with a huge comfy bar and a menu that goes from light bites to full-on dinners. You gotta check out their happy hour from 5 to 7 p.m. – it’s totally worth it! Their panko-crusted calamari and pork drummets are absolute winners. Jam is the perfect spot to hang out with friends, sip on a refreshing cocktail, and have a great time.

The ambiance at Eden is nice and romantic. The service was also excellent. However, our food and cocktails were mediocre and the people at the table behind were quite noisy. But, I would try it again for the ambiance and service.

Eden is our favorite restaurant here.Although the menu has items such as antelope and lamb, the menu offers something for everyone , even a vegetarian dish.We love the atmosphere, it's just wonderful, not simple and yet not fancy, it's just rightThe service is personal, they make you feel special .It is not a huge place so be sure to make a reservation.The food is beyond tasty !This restaurant is a solid 10, the best .... Great atmosphere. Food was absolutely delicious. Nice place for formal or informal dinner. Beef short ribs were fall off the bone delicious which included beautifully cooked asparagus and rice. Chef salad was slightly charred with a lovely Caesar dressing.

Went for a date night with my wife. Food and drinks were fantastic. We had a reservation for outdoor seating, but I think it was unavailable that evening, so we were sat at a high top at the bar. Worked great for us.

If you can look past the stale decor (especially on the top floor), Eden is a great destination a superb beach-side dinner.There are two levels. On my particular visit, we ate on the 2nd floor. Strange, white curtains and tablecloths. Super white and super bland. It wasn't modern, it wasn't sleek.Luckily, the food and service made up for the ambiance.Super accommodating & friendly server + support staff. Great team effort.Great offerings for seafood & land lubbers alike. I wanted some fresh seafood, so I went with the scallops. So succulent.Wonderful dining experience overall. Just ignore the curtains.
Looking for a fancy dining experience? Look no further! This place has romantic vibes, white tablecloths, and gauzy curtains. And let’s not forget about the mouthwatering pork belly quesadilla and their extensive wine selection. You won’t be disappointed.

Ypu are surrounded by dollar bills here! Good place to go with a group. Mix of drinks available. My island shrimp basket was very tasty. You could taste the coconut in the shrimps' batter. The coleslaw was a creamy version but the cabbage was not overdressed and still had a lot of crunch.

There are a few good things I can say about this place, it is conveniently located between Rehobeth ave and Wilmington ave before the boardwalk, the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is really cool. However it took 45 minutes to get our food and when we did it was nothing to be excited about. We stopped for lunch around 12:30 it was not terribly busy. Maybe a good place to have drinks but definitely not the place to stop for lunch especially with a family. And definitely don’t order the Cuban.

Usually I have a good time but last night was too much. I was trying to get dinner for my friends birthday the service was not good at all. Was very disappoint. Took forever to get drinks and boxes and check. I know it was a entertainment night but I've been there plenty of Sunday's after 10, but this time I just had to leave. I couldn't move, I was getting bumped into so many times.

Food was great, exactly as our server described it. Steak was a good cut not fatty and cooked perfect. Fish fingers were fantastic. The decor is not what you expect from the outside. The place was full of families and we had no problem talking at the table. Thought it might be loud.

Very fun place to enjoy some comfort food. They have all the traditional comfort food items like wings and fried shrimp. I went with the cheeseburger which was scrumptious. Great location right in the heart of Rehoboth. Highly recommend.

In Oct. Got there 6:10pm, sue ro dog we were asked to go to Biergarden which was nice but it was being closed. So we sat saddly in the alley with most of tables dirty and no one being waited on. Walked up to bar window to ask for menu and order food and drinks. Fried pickles were good not salty. Clam strip at $13 was bit skimpy(small basket size of palm). Prime rib w mash pot and grill veg was excellent this was greatest value ever. Mumble jumbo burger also was great value and great. Excellent Rueben triple decker. Excellent blacken Mahi that was not salt cake like other places. Exc jerk chicken plates. Fish plater was great tasting. Fries were excellent and awesome cole slaw. This was one of the best meals I had in long time. Only if we had more service( although food was brought out by wait staff) it would have been 5+ star rating.

Spent a wonderful evening with a group of friends at The Pines last week. We all really enjoyed the assortment of appetizers & our mains from the new menu & service from Jesse was perfect! Chef Kyle prepared a chocolate mousse cake with hazelnuts in celebration of my birthday which was just as delicious as it was beautifully presented. Great food & a really nice vibe! Reservations recommended! Alleyway entrance on the right. $$ to $$$. A great place to stop for a drink. Up scale bar with a modern aesthetic selling artisan American style fare. Lighting is low and noise can be loud to hear someone across the table when the place fills up. Cheaper weekday specials exist during the off-season. For recommendation I suggest the crab and artichoke dip (you will not be disappointed).

Fabulous place with a great show venue upstairs. Table service and even a bar menu for appetizers and burgers during shows. The entertainment options cover a wide range and not just drag shows, although they have plenty of that if it's also something you like. Looking forward to the new menu upgrades.A show was recently cancelled that our group had reservations for and the owner himself called the reservation contact to take care of the issue. Owner thought we were upset. We really weren't and he didn't need to go through all that trouble but it's great to know that they care that much to make the effort.This level of care isn't always the norm with businesses in town. There's a DIFFERENT venue in Reho, which will remain nameless, who's owner would have just gone online and started whining arguments with reviewers. The Pines owners stepped up to make sure we were taken care of and as a local it's definitely nice to see even if it wasn't necessary in this situation.
This place has such a chill tavern vibe. It’s all about being relaxed and laid-back, no fancy uniforms for the bartenders or waiters. The Pines, which is actually owned by someone from the LGBTQ+ community, welcomes everyone, even the straights. It’s like we’re all part of this big, friendly Pine family. And let me tell you, the menu is super interesting and diverse with plenty of choices to satisfy any craving.

Seasonal Watering hole that caters to the LGBT crowd. Food is just ok (nothing to write home bout), cocktails are well made and priced accordingly. Really cool place to hang out, mingle and people watch. Fun staff. Shout out to Angelo! Try their Bang bang shrimp! Delicious 😋. And their Key Lime Martini is on point 🔥🔥. One of the best cocktails I've ever had.We also had the pleasure of seeing the live band called "Hot Sauce". They were fantastic!

One of the best places to go when in Rehoboth. I typically go for drinks but occasionally grab a bite. After eating we always ask “Why don’t we eat here more often!!?!” Because it is really good food too!!! The staff is so friendly and they clearly work hard so you can have a great time.
Aqua is always buzzing with a lively atmosphere. It’s the place to be seen at Happy Hour, with a meet ‘n greet outdoor deck with abundant drinks and handsome wait staff. Perfect spot for a seafood feast too! While it’s crazy-packed and fun at happy hour, there’s always something going on, even if it’s not officially scheduled.

If you ask just about anyone who lives in Rehoboth Beach where to get the best chicken salad in town, the overwhelming response will be Lori's Cafe. The salad is made fresh daily and served on a variety of delicious breads (we love the French baguette) or mounded on a salad of greens loaded with chopped green apples and walnuts. We love it topped off by a raspberry vinaigrette. Their menu is extensive and their servings are generous. In addition, the staff is welcoming and very accommodating, and Lori is a Rehoboth legend and one of the nicest folks around!

Wow. Just found this place and it is excellent. We had the Biden and a chicken salad club both were delicious. Very nice staff very helpful and fun place. Also you can definitely share as the portions are very very generous. We will be back soon!

We have often gotten sandwiches from Lori's when we've visited Rehoboth. Last summer, we tried their vegetable one--cucumber, tomato, alfalfa, and cream cheese--and absolutely loved it. Our recreations of "Lori's sandwich" at home have now become a staple of lunch, picnics, or even a dinner when we want something light (pictured). We look forward to having the real deal next time we visit.

Lori's has been on the list of places that I wanted to try in Rehoboth for awhile and finally went today. It did not disappoint. Great food and service. I took mine to go, but next time I will eat in the courtyard.

The food here is delious as well as the coffee. Also the service was really friendly and made you feel at home. The setting is very cozy and relaxing. It gives you the feeling that your sitting on a friend's back porch enjoying a home cooked meal. Really overall just a lovely experience! I will be sure to come back here next time I am in rehobooth.
Tucked away like a drag queens junk in the courtyard next to the CAMP Rehoboth Community Center, this is an absolute gem for all you sandwich fanatics out there. Beach lunches are available to go.

I 💁🏾♀️love Love LOVE THIS PLACE!!! The margarita are frozen and comes in different sizes and the food is so delicious, especially the stone grilled steak and lobster. You must try this place because you can literally grill your own steak at your table. 🙀 It is the most amazing experience EVER!! 💃🏾 I wish all restaurants served like DOS LOCOS 🕺🏾 I just can’t get enough of this place. I go every single time I go to Rehobeth!! When you go visit you tell them I SENT YOU TO EAT REAL DELICIOUSNESS❣️🦞🧆😋👍🍸 lastly, they have a DJ on I believe Saturday nights, so come have fun! 🙋🏾

Hmm. Not exactly sure what they dish up is consistent. Our daughters chicken quesadilla had more meat than my hubby's dinner (as seen in picture, approximately 1oz steak to a cup of onion). My burrito was pretty good, although not close to being the best I've ever had. The kids chicken quesadilla was plenty for her, they came with 3 smiley fries.. Carne Asada Plato was a joke as previously mentioned.. The quality/quantity doesn't justify the prices, at least for our experience. Our service was decent and our food did arrive quickly.

UPDATE 2023Man... Dos Locos was so great last year. We almost couldn't wait to come back. We actually went on our first night in town. This year, it was a let-down, unfortunately.Our server was just not up to it. Either untrained or over burdened with tables. We had to ask for things over and over, and then wait far too long to get them. Twice we got up to look for him.The food this year was under par compared to the delicious meal last year. I got the same item, so it is easy to compare. Even the much beloved green sauce was lacking. I noted that the drinks were just ok last year, and that remains the same this year. A 'big girl margarita' sure is fun, but it ain't gonna get you there.I have to mention the table sauces... a RB problem across the board. The sauces were terrible. I assume old. I added some of the green to my meal toward the end. Luckily I was able to mostly scrape it off as it tasted bad. Really bad.Reducing stars from 5 to 4(2022)Delicious. We had lovely meal at Dos Locos! Server was attentive but not overpowering. Drinks were ok, but seemed a bit week (Big Girl Margarita pictured). My kid was thrilled with the kid's quesadilla and especially that it was served in a frisbee that she could keep. I got the Mexican Plato and it was big and filling (pictured). Their green sauce is delicious.

A nice dinner with my kids at this restaurant. I met the nicest hostess named Bridget who greeted us at the entrance and had a little chat with her while we be seated. Her caring approach to every guests made welcoming to the restaurant which is a little more than other places. Food was great and prompt. Definitely I’ll try other dishes next time when I’m here. Great restaurant at Rehobeth.

Me and my husband walked into do locos was a lovely atmosphere.But was very disappointed 😔 we were ignored after watching the waitress walk by us on 3 occasions to check on others eventually after 20 minutes of not even being offered water we left. It was very uncomfortable to be deliberately ignored would 🚫 not recommend .Not sure if it was because we were the only black people in the restaurant but It was my birthday 🎉🎂 and was very upsetting for myself and husband
If you’re looking for amazing Mexican in Delaware, that’s your fault. For where you are, it’s pretty good but bit price-inflated.

The outdoor patio on the top floor is fantastic! It even features several koi ponds with fountains and great cityscape views. However, we sat next to a very rowdy group that prevented us from hearing our own waiter. Our service was amazing! We loved how the waiter took time to explain the menu and answer any questions we had. The signature sushi rolls we ordered were outstanding! The combination of fresh ingredients blended together beautifully. Overall, we enjoyed a wonderful dinner in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

We went here to celebrate a friend's birthday and the place did not disappoint. At first we were seated outside, but the host was kind enough to get us a seat inside where it was much calmer. The service was fantastic and the food was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the place and would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for good food and a great ambience.

Very popular and very busy sushi restaurant in Rehoboth. The sushi was amazing and fresh! Service was attentive and knowledgeable. There was a little bit of confusion about navigating the various floors with a stroller and trying to find the elevator. But once that was figured out, it was smooth sailing. We were able to find a table that had space for our sizable stroller so that our baby could sleep while we ate. During the summer and early fall, reservations are most likely needed. In the off-season, you may be able to get a table easily without a reservation.

Just, WOW! Amazing experience. Food was great, atmosphere was relaxing with the koi pond and outside patio. We actually came back two days in a row! Simi and Sadie were amazing servers and we took a selfie with the chef, Rob!

I know the season is changing but if you can go make the choice to sit outside. Beautiful and the views are good if your looking for the sunset or just people watching. The food was delicious and the wait staff super friendly
Sushi with sass. Roll creations that you couldn’t even dream of. There’s even a rooftop lake. You read right, a lake, on the roof.
