Blackbook
Palm Springs first gastropub is a great place to chill and grab a beer without the loud music. Expect a mixed crowd that even lures the heteros with disco fries and a whiskey wall.
Chill Bar
Always cooled to a perfect temperature, this is literally the coolest bar in town. Expect a friendly staff and younger crowd — it is very popular with the 20-, 30-, and 40- something crowd.
The Tool Shed
They may be dressed in leather and levis, but they are all teddy bears on the inside. This friendly bar also happens to be cruisy. Win-win.
The Barracks
Studio One 11
This upscale lounge caters to an older crowd that values both style and substance. Live music comes from the piano if it’s time for Karaoke.
Street Bar
A bar with true Palm Springs class. Sing some karaoke like the star you are or watch others take the stage in their search for fame.
QuadZ
Showtunes and karaoke are the main draws at this video bar formerly known as Spurline. This is the friendly, neighborhood bar you might be searching for if a dance club doesn’t sound relaxing.
Eagle 501
Even Palm Springs has its gay dive bar and this is it. The cheap drinks are a great reminder that you get what you pay for. Formally known as Score, the remodeled bar is amazing.
Hunters
Toucans Tiki Lounge
They really pack it in here; it’s fun and dancing is concentrated into a tiny space. If you can handle the crowd, the strong drinks and the drag shows are worth it.
