Tavern on Camac
A classic Philly bar that just about everyone goes to. The older head to the piano bar downstairs, the younger run upstairs for the dancing.
Tabu
One floor is a full-on sports bar, the other is a lounge. Both floors cater to the friendlier gays with their daily drink specials.
Stir
A bit off the well-worn path, Stir is a great place for boys and girls to grab a well-made drink. It’s loungey in all the best ways and a refreshing change of pace.
Knock
A classier take on the neighborhood bar, Knock is a place you can enjoy a cocktail and pleasant conversation with friends or strangers.
Bob and Barbara’s
The greatest of dive bars, the $3 PBR and Jim Beam special is just the beginning of all it offers. Live entertainment, from drag to jazz keeps this place humming. Give it a try on Thursday nights.
Bike Stop
It’s the heart of the leather scene, but this chill bar is open to all. Monday Jockstrap Night and Wednesday Underwear night are especially popular (go figure).
